The vice president is depicted in the 55-second footage as she walks backstage at an event, proceeds toward her motorcade, and responds to a phone call on speaker.
“Hello, you are both together!” Harris cordially responds, “It is a pleasure to hear from both of you.”
“I am unable to engage in this conversation without expressing my admiration for my daughter, Kamala, on the phone,” Michelle Obama stated. “This will be a momentous occasion.”
Michelle and I are ecstatic to support you in this election and to assist you in securing the presidency.
Harris expresses gratitude for their companionship and concludes, “We are going to have a lot of fun with this.”
Speculation that Harris, the de facto Democratic presidential nominee, might not have the entire support of the most popular couple in Democratic politics was laid to rest by the highly anticipated endorsements.

However, the video of the phone call was in accordance with the Harris campaign’s emerging political character, which emphasizes personal relationships, rejects spectacle, and embraces discomfort, despite its nontraditional nature.
The low-key presentation of such a high-value endorsement also implies that the Obamas, both of whom are powerful speakers, may be anticipating the appropriate moment to utilize their oratorial abilities to achieve the greatest possible impact.
