Two women accusing Neil Gaiman of sexual assault have made official claims to the New Zealand police. The claims, which date back twenty years, were first made public in the podcast “Master: the claims against Neil Gaiman” by Tortoise. The women claim that Gaiman sexually assaulted them just hours after meeting in February 2022 at his home in New Zealand. Gaiman has denied any claims of having sex with someone else without their permission and that the New Zealand police did not take up on his offer to help with one of the complaints in 2022. The New Zealand police have made several attempts to speak to key people in the investigation, but they remain open to further investigation.

Two women who had sexual ties with Neil Gaiman are accusing him of sexual assault in a very serious way. The claims, which go back twenty years, have been officially made to the New Zealand police.
The claims were first made public in the podcast “Master: the claims against Neil Gaiman” by Tortoise. In this four-part series, the women talk about having rough and nasty sex with the author, which they say wasn’t always their choice.
The 63-year-old best-selling author of “The Sandman,” “Good Omens,” and “American Gods” has rejected any claims of having sex with someone else without their permission. He says that the fact that the New Zealand police did not take him up on his offer to help with one of the complaints in 2022 shows that the claims were not true.
New Zealand police have said that, contrary to Gaiman’s claims, they have made “a number of attempts to speak to key people as part of this investigation and those efforts remain ongoing.” They also said that there are many things to consider, such as where everyone is located.
Scarlett, who is 23 years old, says that Gaiman sexually assaulted her just hours after they met for the first time in February 2022 at his home in New Zealand, where she was babysitting his kid. Scarlett says that Gaiman did sexual acts that were rough, cruel, and penetrative while they were together, even though they both agreed to it. Tortoise has looked over texts and notes from the time and talked to friends who agree with Scarlett’s claims.
Gaiman says that he and Scarlett only “cuddled” and “made out” in the bath, and that they both agreed to these acts. He says that all contacts after that, even the digital penetration, were voluntary.
The second lady, K, met Gaiman at a book signing in Sarasota, Florida, in 2003. She was 18 years old at the time. She started dating him when she was 20 years old, and he was in his mid-40s. K says she agreed to rough and painful sex that she “neither wanted nor enjoyed.” For example, she says Gaiman penetrated her even though she told him not to because she had a painful infection. Gaiman says he didn’t do anything wrong with K and is upset by what she says.
Tortoise knows that Gaiman thinks K’s accusations are based on guilt over their relationship and that Scarlett was dealing with a condition that causes false memories, which her medical records do not back up.
